What Makes TLA Different?
A Holistic Learning Program for students in grades 6-8 located in Miami, FL. We offer innovative classes, small community-driven learning environments, and hands-on experiences to nurture emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and real-world skills.

The Light Academy uses a multiple-intelligences approach to teaching. Multiple intelligences is rooted in the belief that there is more than one type of intelligence or “smart” that each person can possess at different levels.
The types of smarts include Word smart, Number smart, Picture smart, Body smart, Music smart, People smart, Self smart, and Earth smart. These smarts or intelligences can be used to personalize instruction and shape how teachers teach and students learn.
At The Light Academy, we ensure each child’s strengths are embraced and cultivated through multiple intelligences based teaching.
